The significantly reduced maintenance is the most compelling argument for ActiveLED in-ground fixtures and buckets apart from the significan direct cost savings due to the low energy use.
Many have tried cheap LED repalcement bulbs which do not work for long in fact last often shorter than the old HID ond HPS lamps. ActiveLED is a game changer as it provides the light output and guarantees its devices for 10 years (5 years for LED driver).
Drivers are field repalceable if required and expected to function well beyond their guaranteed lifetime. A Ringdale Surge Protection Device and Lightning Arrestor can be purchased and when used with an ActiveLED Power Driver, we extend the LED Driver Warranty to 10 years.
All ActiveLED light engines are 100V..277V AC 50/60Hz, 300..480V on request.
