The U.S.-manufactured ActiveLED^® SPH Retrofit is an innovative, self-contained LED light engine designed to easily replace the inefficient, high-wattage lamp assembly in most Visa Sphinx CB6056 wall-mount fixtures, providing energy savings of 50-80 percent.

Commercial offices, hospitals, libraries, municipalities, universities and colleges use Visa Sphinx style luminaires for illuminating and accenting hallways, corridors, stairways, atriums and indoor public spaces. The Visa Sphinx CB6056 is a triangular-shaped wall sconce that typically has incandescent or compact fluorescent lamps and ballasts that need regular maintenance.

The existing lamps can be retrofitted with the low-wattage ActiveLED SPH light engine and the Visa fixtures still have the same aesthetic characteristics. The only noticeable difference in its outward appearance is a better quality of light, which improves the safety value of its surroundings.
Ringdale’s patented LED technology also ensures a long life span of 90,000 hours (24/7 is 8,760 hours per year), lowering the bottom line when it comes to maintenance and operational costs.

The ActiveLED SPH Retrofit meets many commercial, residential and municipalities’ latest sustainability mandates for reducing energy usage. The light output of the ActiveLED SPH Light Engine Retrofit can be easily adjusted to accommodate different lighting requirements simply by using the built-in rotary manual dimmer. Adjusting the light output has an additional benefit in that the power consumption of the Retrofit is reduced exponentially.

Removing Existing Lamp & Electronics Assembly from Visa Lighting Sphinx Luminaire

It is a very straightforward process to remove the existing Visa Sphinx Luminaire electronics assembly in preparation for installing the ActiveLED SPH Retrofit, as described below.
Before starting any dis-assembly / assembly work, first disconnect the AC power from the existing Wall-Mount Luminaire.

•	Remove existing Lamp, Lamp Holder and Ballast Electronics from the body of the Luminaire by removing two or three machine screws (details may vary slightly based on the model of Luminaire).
•	Connect the AC cabling from the ActiveLED SPH retrofit to the AC line feed within the existing fixture.
•	Carefully place the complete ActiveLED Retrofit assembly into the Luminaire and secure using the existing machine screws.
•	Reconnect the AC power to verify that the installation is correct and the ActiveLED SPH Retrofit is illuminated.

NOTE: The existing electronics assembly will need to be disposed of safely and in accordance with local regulations.

ActiveLED^® Warranties

By inserting the ActiveLED SPH Retrofit into a Visa Lighting fixture, all warranties from Visa Lighting are nullified. ActiveLED will replace the 5 year Visa Lighting Warranty with a 10 year ActiveLED "no light loss" and driver performance warranty. We provide mechanically robust indoor and outdoor lighting systems; our warranties are 10 years on LED elements, fixtures and drivers / power supplies.
