The ActiveLED^® OL14-SM Surface-Mounted Linear Ceiling Light consumes at least 50-85 percent less energy than conventional lighting and additional energy savings can be achieved with the optional lighting management. For example, dimming the fixture down to light level 40 when there is no occupancy activity delivers an additional 91% in energy savings.

With its patented design and superior LED elements, the ActiveLED Surface-Mounted Ceiling Lighting is a reliable light source with a 90,000-hour lumen life, making it a maintenance-free solution for applications where changing bulbs and ballasts can be hazardous and expensive.

Ringdale provides a comprehensive range of ActiveLED Surface-Mounted Ceiling Light Fixtures with different wattages for varying applications and a choice of CCT color temperatures:
The OL14-SM Series products are substantially the ActiveLED OL14 series of 1' X 4' Recessed Ceiling Lights but in a surface-mounted configuration. In this way, the IES files for the OL14 fixtures are also applicable to the equivalent OL14-SM fixtures.
The OL14-SM fixtures include support for the ActiveLED Digital Management capability and the optional Battery Backup Unit (BBU) as standard:

ActiveLED^® OL14-SM Installation Process

Installing the OL14-SM Surface Mount fixture is a straight-forward four-step process.

STEP	DESCRIPTION
(1)	Unclip the Lid Assembly from the fixture and attach to the ceiling structure, using either the J-Box compatible mounting holes or the corner-mounting holes.
(2)	Thread the AC line feed into the Lid and attach to the ActiveLED power supply / driver using wire nuts.
(3)	Reattach (Clip) the LED Assembly onto the Lid Assembly hinge-points.
(4)	Connect the LED elements to the power supply using the provided low-voltage DC cables and secure the LED Assembly to the Lid Assembly using two set-screws (provided).
