ActiveLED® AFIT-K1 Retrofit for Kenall Correctional Facilities light fixtures retains the robust vandal-resistance of the original fixture and provides brighter, more uniform lighting while saving on energy and maintenance costs.
The U.S.-manufactured ActiveLED® K1 Light Retrofit is an innovative, self-contained LED light engine designed to easily replace the inefficient, high-wattage light bulb assembly in existing Kenall Correctional Facility light fixture, providing energy savings of 50-80 percent.
Many County, State and Federal correctional facilities use Kenall Correctional Facility light fixtures in cell blocks, bathrooms and recreational rooms. The ActiveLED® AFIT-K1 Retrofit retains the robust vandal-resistance characteristics of the original fixture and provides brighter, more uniform lighting while saving on energy and maintenance costs.
The only noticeable difference in its outward appearance is a better quality and more consistent level of light, which helps to improve the safety value of its surroundings. Ringdale’s patented LED technology also ensures a long life span of 90,000 hours (24/7 is 8,760 hours per year), lowering the bottom line when it comes to maintenance and operational costs.

Ringdale uses the latest in energy efficient LEDs and LED Modules producing equal or greater light output than current HID technology (Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium). Our state-of-the-art electronics monitor current and temperature of the LED substrate to assure maximum performance under the prevailing environmental conditions and a Lumen Lifetime of 90,000 hours (90% Luminous Flux).
