VRL Series ActiveLED® Vandal Resistant Lights provide a safer, more secure environment for those waiting for public transportation or using public facilities. Modular design lends itself to customizable and configurable solutions for most vandal-resistant applications.
The Ringdale ActiveLED® VRL Series Vandal Resistant Linear Light is an energy efficient, cost effective and high performance vandal-proof LED light contributing to a safer, more secure environment for those waiting for public transportation.
The ActiveLED VRL Series consumes at least 50-85 percent less energy than conventional lighting. With its patented design and superior LED elements, the ActiveLED Vandal Resistant Light is a reliable light source with a 90,000-hour lumen life, making it a virtually maintenance-free solution for applications where changing bulbs and ballasts can be hazardous and expensive.
ActiveLED® VRL Series Configuration Options / Modularity
The modular design of the VRL series system provides the flexibility to be able to factory-configure a lighting fixture for most Transit, Bus and Coach Stop Shelter and Public Area applications, list of options are as follows:

| • Daylight / Dusk-to-Dawn Sensor: | The VRL monitors the rise and fall of the voltage from the optional photosensor to accurately calculate the Astronomically Twilight Detector for turning the lights off and on, while automatically adjusting for the seasons |
ActiveLED® Technology
Ringdale uses the latest in energy efficient LEDs and LED Modules producing equal or greater light output than fluorescent light fixtures. Our state-of-the-art electronics monitor current and temperature of the substrate to assure maximum performance under the prevailing environmental conditions and a Lumen Lifetime of 90,000 hours (90% Luminous Flux).
ActiveLED® Diffuser Technology
We use state-of-the-art diffuser technology with a minimal amount of light loss within the fixture providing for maximum lighting efficiency.
ActiveLED® Warranties
We provide mechanically robust indoor and outdoor lighting systems; our warranties are 10 years on LED elements, fixtures and drivers / power supplies.
